The ST-310 stove is meticulously designed and manufactured. It comes with a Micro Regulator system (a constant pressure regulating device). The ST-310 uses a long gas cylinder as fuel, which is easy to find and economical.

The ST-310 stove provides a consistent, strong flame even at 5˚c. When the burner head is hot, the temperature inside the gas cylinder will decrease. The longer the stove is used, the lower the temperature of the gas cylinder will be, sometimes to the point of ice forming. The cooling of the gas cylinder, whether it is continuous use or from very cold outside temperatures, causes the pressure inside the gas cylinder to decrease, which affects the efficiency of the stove. The stove will not be able to heat as it should, wasting both time and fuel. To solve this dilemma, Soto has developed the Micro Regulator.
